Visa / Innoculation Information

While I have done some research on this, I am by no means certain that everything is correct so I urge you to contact your travel agent, RCCL or the appropriate contry's Embassy/Consulate to be sure you have all of the necessary documentation for the cruise.  All of this information pertains to US citizens carrying US passports.  The links provided are for general reference and convenience.  I have no ties to any of them.

ARGENTINA/URUGUAY

No Visa or innoculations required.  It is strongly suggested that all travelers have “sufficient funds”, a return or onward ticket and all documentation required for the next destination.  Persons who have been in areas infected with Yellow Fever reently should have proof of vaccination.

CHILE

No Visa or innoculations required. However, there is a $131 “reciprocity” fee that is to be paid in cash. It appears that this will be available on the ship and the receipt you get will become your Visa.  It is good until your passport expires.  In addition to the receipt, all travelers must have a Tourist Card (available on the ship), “sufficient” funds plus a return or onward ticket and all documentation required for the next destination.  The Tourist Card is needed when you leave Chile, but I'm not sure if it is critical to re-board the ship. Be sure you don't lose it.  Persons who have been in areas infected with Yellow Fever within 5-10 days of entry into Chile should have proof of vaccination.
